How do you add other languages to the board besides english? The answer is: you can't.
Boards in other languages are prohibited by the terms of service.
Why
- Monitoring: If a report is filed against a board in another language, our staff can only read English. Therefore; we cannot effectively investigate the forum to make sure it isn't against our terms of service. Translators are unreliable and even unavailable for some languages. We may also be unable to communicate with the staff or primary board owner or member if they are not english speaking so that they can correct the problem.
- Support: Giving proper help/support to users in other languages who aren't fluent in English isn't possible for our staff, as we simply do not know them. All of our documentation, searchable content, administration CP, amongst everything is all written in English. This will confuse someone who doesn't know the language. We can't properly support them. We do not have the available resources to become a multi-lingual service.
Will it ever change?
The rules may change in the future, but it is not likely.
