Nicknames
This guide will show you how to register your nickname on Nightfire IRC.
Registering your Nickname
To register your nickname, you need to use the following command on the network,
/msg NickServ register PASSWORD EMAIL
An example of what you would put is,
/msg NickServ register James jc@sindacious.com
Nightfire IRC is set up with email validation, so when you register you have to check your email, and use the code the email provides you, to use, which normally looks something like this,
/MSG NickServ VERIFY REGISTER NICK XXXXXXXXXXXX
NICK being the nick you are registering, and “X” being a random combination of letters.
Once you have done this you have registered your nickname!
